Custom Search     Lake View Lake     I was thinking about this picture, needless to say I cannot identify any of the children, but I would be willing to guess that this was taken at the old 1 room school house that was just east of the Lake View Club. The school is gone now, replaced by a house. Says June (Lobb) Morton Lake View is / was awesome! My mother (Ruby Lobb) ran it for about 1 1/2 yrs when I was around 9yrs old and we lived upstairs in the clubhouse. My sister, her husband and I     stopped by there last summer. No one was around, the clubhouse was locked up, and it was rather sad. When we lived there it was busy all summer. The enormous tree that sat between the clubhouse and the lake with that wonderful swing is also long gone. I have a lot of fond childhood memories from that short time that we were there.
