  You clearly have to love the Bitterroot Range. Clearwater National Forest is worth taking a look at if you're at Williams Lake; you acquire a tremendous panorama of Williams Peak from here. Williams Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. There's a good 2-mile-long class III-V whitewater stretch on Crooked Fork close by, the Hopeful Creek to Brushy Fork sector. The Hopeful Creek to Brushy Fork sector of Crooked Fork is recommended for skilled kayak
    paddlers solely. Nearby there is a magnificent 20-mile-in-length class III whitewater stretch, the Papoose Creek to Indian Grave Creek sector of Lochsa River.
