  The summit of Big Butte can be spotted from Rocky Lake. A great site to camp here at Rocky Lake is Hi-country RV Park and Campground. Craters Of The Moon National Monument is a good local destination here at Rocky Lake.
During the summertime, highs generally are in the 80's at Rocky Lake. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; night lows at Rocky Lake through the wintertime commonly
    drop into the 0's. Rocky Lake gets very little rainfall. The month with most of the rain is June, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
