  Lake Walcott State Park is a good local campground; you'll perhaps meet some folks from Burley here.
Village of Trees RV Resort is a great campground nearby. For the duration of the long summer days at Rim Lake highs are mostly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Rim Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. Rim Lake gets very little rainfall.
    The month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
