  Visit Sharkey Creek since you're here at Pony Lake, and Pony Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Deep Creek - Beaver Jack is a nice place to camp nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains.
So many enjoyable things to do in the Salmon River Mountains, not sufficient time. Rabbit Creek is a tremendous spot to pop by; Cougar Point is a delightful campground nearby. Going for a horse ride at nearby Rawhide
    Outfitters is always a fun thing to do.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Salmon; Salmon National Forest is a magnificent location.
