All the outdoors cool things in the Salmon River Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. A journey to Salmon National Forest when you're here at Plateau Lake is never a bad idea, and why not camp at Yellowjacket Campground since you're here at Plateau Lake.
    Plateau Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. The peak of Puddin Mountain can be observed from Plateau Lake, and if you get bored of Plateau Lake you could also pop by close by Falconberry Lake.
