Oxbow Reservoir

Oxbow Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Wallowa Mountains is great! While staying at Oxbow Reservoir you could always discover Limestone Gulch, and some of the water nearby flows, like Scorpion Creek. There's a glorious category III-IV stretch of whitewater close by on Wildhorse River, the 14-mile-in-length Bear Creek Bridge to Snake River confluence section. This section of Wildhorse River is
fine for those with some whitewater boating familiarity. Whitewater rapids are risky things, so you ought to check the situation before you go.
