  A glorious zoo near Hawkins Reservoir is Pocatello Zoo; they have a lot of gorgeous animals. Sheep Creek is near Hawkins Reservoir and is always a delight to explore. There's so much to do here at Hawkins Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Hawkins Reservoir is a good site for that. Hawkins Dam is worth going to if you're here, and dry warm beds await you at Shoshone-Bannock Hotel.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from
    Arimo here; Hawkins Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Goodenough Creek is a great local campground. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Hawkins Reservoir.
