  This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Craters of the Moon National Monument - Lava Flow Camp Ground if you're here at Crossing Lake. Super 8 Heyburn Burley Area is a great place to get some rest, and Fish Creek Reservoir is a good local campground.
Around Crossing Lake you donít get a lot of rainfall. January is the month that gets the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Crossing
    Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Crossing Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
