  The summit of Dietrich Butte can be seen from Crater Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Crater Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Shoshone RV Park.
Lots of folks from Dietrich come to Crater Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Crater Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Magic Reservoir - Myrtle Point is a good spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Days Inn Twin Falls Jerome is a magnificent place to get some
    rest. Summertime highs at Crater Reservoir usually tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's.
