Corn Lake

This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range.
On Salmon River nearby you come upon the 79-mile-long Corn Creek to Vinegar Creek portion of class III-IV whitewater. Generally this section of Salmon River is an enjoyable place for raft paddling. Don't go raft paddling ahead of first checking restrictions; it's perilous matter. There's so much to do here at Corn Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cache Bar Campground is a nice location for
that. Corn Lake is next to Salmon National Forest which is a beautiful place. Corn Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Middle Fork Campground is a good local campground.
