Blackfoot Reservoir

The Blackfoot Dam to Cutthroat Creek Campground section is a good 10-mile-long grade III section of whitewater on Blackfoot River. This section of Blackfoot River is good for those with a bit of kayak paddling experience. The Cutthroat Trout Campground to Trail Creek Bridge segment has a span of 12 miles; you bump into this part of whitewater on Blackfoot River. It's a category II part. The proficient paddlers should probably stay away from this part of Blackfoot
River. Don't go whitewater rafting or kayaking ahead of first checking the situation; it's dangerous stuff. This lake is so wonderful.
