  This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Massacre Rocks State Park. If you came for an overnight stay Hi-country RV Park and Campground is a fine place to camp; Coyote Butte can be seen from Big Butte Reservoir.
Craters of the Moon KOA is a glorious local campground, and do pay a visit to Craters Of The Moon National Monument while you're here at Big Butte Reservoir. Big Butte Reservoir gets very little rainfall. June is the month that gets the most
    rain while October is generally the driest month. Summertime highs at Big Butte Reservoir generally tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's.
