Says Brenda/Doug Hutchins This lake is a wonderful 9 square mile lake boasting a shoreline of 38 miles. The waters of this lake consist of some tremendous largemouth bass, bass and bluegill. This place, Lake Weir, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. A trip to Lake Griffin State Park when you're here at Lake Weir is a fine     idea, and going for a horse ride at nearby Owl Hollow Farm is always a fun thing to do. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you can have a look at Hampton Beach in the vicinity of Lake Weir, and a good zoo near Lake Weir is Endangered Parrot TRUST; they have lots of beautiful animals.   This six-room, cottage-style inn provides guests with a boutique hotel experience amid Southern charms like majestic Oak trees, starry nights, beautiful sunsets and waterfront views. Boat rental can be arranged and there are two boat ramps on the lake for your convenience.
