Custom Search     Dog Lake     Dog Lake is much more of a pond than a lake. Perhaps, that can be attributed to a drought. The white sandy beach is nice and plentiful. There is a nice view of the sky and stars from Dog Lake. However, with its close proximity to the Tallahassee airport, the sky and the air are often disrupted by planes landing and taking off. Says Erica A great location to camp here at Dog Lake is Lakeside Travel Park, and in case you have a boat, Shields Marina is     a tremendous marina. This lake is so wonderful.
