Custom Search     Upper Piney Lake     We had a great time hiking to Upper Piney Lake over 4th of July weekend, 2006. Although the views are out of this world, the hike will take everything out of you that you've got. I would highly recommend this hike. Make sure you have everything you need for AT LEAST 2 days. The hike to Upper Piney will take 8 hours (all up hill)...But only 4 hours to get back to Piney River Ranch. Says Christopher and Elizabeth Rivers Upper Piney Lake is located     in the Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. On an excellent wintertime day you may rent a snow mobile at Piney River Ranch.
