Twin Lake Reservoir

In the event that you like whitewater, there is the Fish Creek Trailhead to Main fork portion, a grade IV-V whitewater bit on Cache La Poudre River - South Fork, 12.5 miles from start to finish. Only those proficient in whitewater paddling should endeavor to run this bit of Cache La Poudre River - South Fork. The Indian Meadows Bridge to Narrows Picnic Ground section, a whitewater bit on Cache La Poudre River is 8 miles long. This close by bit of whitewater
is a type III-IV. This bit of Cache La Poudre River is well suited for raft paddlers who have been whitewater boating for a while but who are not yet ready for the extremely risky rapids.

The lake was very low on 6/29/08. Not sure when they let all the water out but if it was before this last winter we had... I bet it froze solid. We both fished for a while and did not see and sign of life while we were there. - John
