| | I was raised near this lake and when a child we had to pack horses into this lake. It is not near any campgrounds, and it's over 25 miles to town, not 18. It gets way colder than 0 in the winter but the views are almost correct. It IS beautiful! Says Steve Hudson

River is a load of fun. By and large this segment of Navajo River is not a demanding place for whitewater boating. Raft paddling could get hazardous, so check the situation before you go.
