Mack Mesa Reservoir

Not to be confused with Mack Mesa Lake, which is beside Highline Lake, Mack Mesa Reservoir is 2 miles south of Highline, on private property with no public access. Says John Caldwell

There's so much to do here at Mack Mesa Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Highline is a good spot for that. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Fruita, and Colorado National Monument is a fine national park. If you came to camp James M. Robb Colorado River
State Park - Fruita is a perfect place to do that, and let's not forget Mack Wash which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay.
