Nearby there is a magnificent 29-mile-in-distance     type V+ whitewater bit, the Dusy Branch to South Fork confluence sector of Kings River - Middle Fork. This bit of Kings River - Middle Fork is not a place where learners should come paddling.   I was about 18 months old when my parents started taking me and my brother to Lake Sabrina. We spent 2-3 weeks at Camp Sabrina every summer until I went into high school. I enjoyed the times up there until CalTrans built the highway thru the campground. About 6 years after that, the camp store, cabins and trailer court were demolished and removed, changing the entire camp geography.
