Custom Search     Lake Sabrina     Please note that Ralph and Rosie Dominguez operated the Lake Sabrina Camp Store and Cabins until the lease ran out, and the Dept of Forestry would NOT renew the lease. Instead, the Dept of Forestry ordered Ralph, (a WWII Veteran who helped liberate Dachau Concentration Camp), to remove all evidence of the Lake Sabrina Camp. I helped remove every scrape of wood with Ralph and brother down the hill and to Chalfant Valley. The Dept. of Forestry completely erased     the history of the location. UGH! We spent 2-3 weeks at Camp Sabrina every summer until I went into high school. I enjoyed the times up there until CalTrans built the highway thru the campground. About 6 years after that, the camp store, cabins and trailer court were demolished and removed, changing the entire camp geography.
