Custom Search     Nancy Lake     Can anyone tell me the origin of the name of this lake, Nancy Lake located near Kingvale, CA.. A lovely little lake about 2 miles from Troy and I-80. Says Andy Tahoe National Forest is a splendid place; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Boreal if you're here. A great 5.6-mile-long gorgeous great outdoors trail having an altitude variation of 816 feet is to be found in the vicinity; this is the Long Valley Trail. 5.3 miles of delightful     hiking trail can be found close by; this is the Cherry Point Trail with an altitude variation of 1,079 feet.
