It's a good windsurfing lake on stormy days although it gets very gusty. The best place to launch is on the east side of the lake. But if you're not windsurfing the west side is a lot nicer and less crowded with lots of big rocks and small scattered beaches. There's a small waterfall on the west side as well just a very short hike up the hill.
