Custom Search     Jenks Lake     I'm sad there's no longer swimming at Jenks Lake. In the 50s & early 60s, my family vacationed in Barton Flats and went daily to Jenks Lake to cool off in the lake and climb on the logs floating in the lake. There were lots of vacationers who enjoyed the lake as well, plus vendors who sold snacks and sodas in the parking lot! Great memories! Says Vicki This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves San Bernardino National Forest, and let's not forget Frog Creek     which is a stream that you may encounter while you're here. Forsee Creek Trail is a charming nearby backpacking trail; it has a variation in altitude of 3,896 feet and is 11.   Its Beautiful! BBQ's. Picnic tables. Handicap access. Paved paths. Bathrooms.
