Glen Annie Reservoir

Glen Annie Reservoir is pretty but kind of small… pond sized. It’s well known among tropical fish enthusiasts as a place to collect feral Goleta dart guppies. I’m told way back when it was a popular fishing spot, but today the reservoir is no longer maintained or stocked for anglers.

There are two ways of getting there. One requires entering through the National Forest and a hearty sense of adventure. The other, a much more direct route, requires one to get
permission from the landowner (or one of their minions). The gate to the second route is at the foot of Glen Annie road and the property owners are friendly (though they’ll truthfully tell there’s no fish to catch there anymore). Says Jason
