Custom Search     Duck Lake     Just ran across your post planning for a trip. I've been researching the area straight East of Fresno in the John Muir Wilderness. There is a small lake named Duck Lake that looks like it could be the one you're looking for. The coordinates are 36.992536, -118.892680. I wouldn't even know where to begin to gain access to the lake but looks like a great fishin hole. Good luck. Says Jon Jaeger I saw an episode of ''CALIFORNIAS GOLD'' with Huell Howser it was titled     TROUT'' and the san Joaquin fish hatchery in Fresno did air drops of rainbow trout into DUCK LAKE now the show did not give directions to this beautiful tree lined lake. When I go on line and punch in duck lake, Fresno county it shows a small lake with nothing but dirt and small around it, where is all the beautiful trees surrounding it, obviously this is not the duck lake Huell Howser was at!!
