Splendid backcountry backpacking awaits you on the nearby Pacific Crest Trail - section 16; this hiking trail has a difference in elevation of 6,284 feet and is 121.7 miles in length. Pacific Crest Trail - section 16 requires 14 days to backcountry hike; it's a difficult hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. It's always great to visit     Butler Spring, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Logan Lake is one of those close by.
