Custom Search     Lake Mead     This lake is a wonderful 248 square mile lake having a shoreline of 550 miles. Popular activities on Lake Mead comprise of boating, waterskiing and fishing. There are marinas at this lake. Colorado River has a class I bit of whitewater nearby. The 30-mile-long Black Canyon portion is good to paddle. If by chance you exclusively boast very little skill in kayak paddling, this bit of Colorado River could be a fine kayak paddling bit.
