He was employed by a contractor to work on the then future ''Thunderbird Lake''. I went to work with him one day and rode in a dump truck as he brought out load after load of rock and gravel. I think of that     summer anytime I think of my father; it was a great summer for me and, dad, I miss you more than I can say.
