Custom Search     Tukuto Lake     I camped there in 1968 from about July 5 to Sept 10 on Ed Hall's Crew. We could not fly in earlier due to late ice breakup. Elders said it was the hottest summer in memory. Mosquitoes were at their worst when it was hottest, probably in the mid 80s. The caribou migration was also late that year. We worked the site in snow the last week or so. Chester and Martha Burns and Herbie Onalik all of Noatak were there as well as Leona Hall, Dick Krause, Jan Goldenstein,     and Michael Huelsman.
