Says Sherman Townsend Cedar Grove Beach ceased being a park in the 60's and is now my private residence. Would welcome any pictures of the park in the 30's,40's,50's,60's. Was the site of many picnics by farm bureau, churches, and other groups from the area. Steam ships and cruises from Baltimore and Annapolis visited for the day during that period. Says Sherman Townsend Why     is this still on the list when this beach supposedly has not existed in many years. Says John Mercier Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building; Cedar Grove Beach in Dorchester County, Maryland is a really fine place to hang out. Pleasant glittering water and the beautiful seaside is a view worth seeing. A lot of fun lies ahead for you at this slice of shore. The campgrounds here at Cedar Grove Beach are pretty good. As long as you like beaches you will like Maryland. There aren’t any lodgings around here but if you're ok to voyage a small length then no problem but do reserve a room before heading out since it is a very popular destination.   Are you still interested in pictures from Cedar grove beach?
