Bass Lake Beach Custom Search   Tom is mistaken about sewer lines running into the lake. The Bass Lake Conservancy District oversees the sewer system, which is a closed sanitary system. All sanitary systems have been installed according to local codes and inspected to ensure proper installation. You can contact the Bass Lake Conservancy District at 574-772-2974 for more information about the sewers. Bass Lake is a wonderful vacation spot and place to live. There are 3 campgrounds around the     Lake: Bass Lake Beach and Campground on the east side of the lake, Bielava Resort and Camp on the north side, and the south end has Hickory Hills Campground. The lake has some very shallow areas which are utilized by many to play water volleyball, swimming and similar activities. Water skiing and knee boarding and sailing are common to see around the lake. The deepest part of Bass Lake is about 30 feet and it's naturally spring fed.
