Why not stop at Green Brier State Park Dam and Dike since you're here; if you came for an overnight stay Antietam Creek Campground is a great place to camp.
Hampton Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Musket Ridge Golf Club. Lakes are nice; Boonsboro Reservoir is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Greenbrier State Park, and get drenched paddling on Beaver Creek.
Why not camp at Ole Mink Farm Campground if you're here at Greenbrier State Park, and if you come at the right time of year, Middle creek offers some glorious whitewater. Playing golf is lots of fun at Beaver Creek Country Club, and there's whitewater on Catoctin Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. There is so much cool stuff to do for everybody.
A great place to camp here at Greenbrier State Park is Mountain Farm Campground, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Suites Hagerstown is a great choice. Greenbrier State Park gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls through May; January meanwhile is the driest month.
