Schafer State Park is a tremendous spot for a spree when you've gotta get out. Schafer State Park has magnificent outdoors recreation, so you could have a ball while you're here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody
but if it's for you then we recommend Satsop River - Middle Fork, and Horse Prairie is a lovely place any time of year. There are a lot of enjoyable things to do for everyone. Schafer State Park has a wealth of natural prettiness; it's a spot where everyone has a magnificent time.
Don't forget to take a great little tour to Dry Run Creek, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Satsop River - East Fork. Schafer State Park is a wet location that gets much precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here while July is regularly the driest month.
