Bogachiel State Park, Olympic Mountains, Washington

  Camping is available at Forks Mobile Home Park, and if you come at the right time of year, Calawah River offers some great whitewater. If you came for an overnight stay Hoh River Resort is a pleasant location to camp, and there's some flowing water close by, May Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here. This site is so good, just explore all the fun stuff to do next to Bogachiel State Park. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Calawah River - North Fork, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Forks here.

There are many amusing things to do to gratify everybody. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bogachiel State Park a wet location; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is August. It's a popular place to get away to for the inhabitants of Forks. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Bogachiel State Park temperatures are generally in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Bogachiel State Park dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Grader Creek Hill is uncomplicated to spot from Bogachiel State Park; getting to Dry Creek from Bogachiel State Park is trouble-free.
After a long day outdoors Kalaloch Lodge is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and Klahanie Campground is a magnificent local campground. And that's not everything you can do here in the Olympic Mountains. The top of Lagitos Hill is easily seen from Bogachiel State Park, and Coon Creek is near Bogachiel State Park and is always a delight to stop at. So many amusing things in the Olympic Mountains, just tremendous. Bear Creek flows through this area, and there's whitewater on Hyas Creek for all you adrenaline kick people.
