Jackson River is a fine whitewater spot close to Douthat State Park, and at Douthat Dam next to Douthat State Park there are some out of the ordinary things to see.

spot to do that, and a perfect place for whitewater paddling is Wilson Creek. Douthat State Park has beautiful nature scenery for your viewing satisfaction. Lower Cascades Golf Club is a good golf course nearby; you can go for a hike on the Wilson Creek Trail.

at Douthat State Park temperatures are typically in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Douthat State Park. Douthat State Park

Douthat State Park is a good wilderness
