on the nice whitewater of Black River, and here at Wilgus State Park you can distinguish Barber Mountain. Take a hike on the Futures Trail. There's so much to do here at Wilgus State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Mount Ascutney State Park Campground is a perfect
place for that. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Connecticut River, and if you're here, you could also go to lovely Cooks Pond.
A brilliant site to camp here at Wilgus State Park is The Farm Campground; Best Budget Inn is a tremendous
location to get some rest. It's a popular place to travel to for folks from Windsor. Some of the water close by flows, like Barkmill Brook, and dry warm beds await you at Ascutney Mountain Resort.
