coming to Waterbury Center State Park, you might not ever wanna go home again. Stowe Hollow Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Smugglers Notch is quite near. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Waterbury Center State
Park. Gold Brook Campground is a splendid local campground, and Best Western Waterbury-Stowe is a good spot to get some rest.
Go for a hike on the Dalley Loop Trail, and Little River - West Branch is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. You'll meet a lot of people from Waterbury
Center here, and for you golfers we recommend close by Country Club of Vermont. So many entertaining things to do here in the Green Mountains, too good to be true. Near Waterbury Center State Park you discover the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail; dry
warm beds await you at Notchbrook Condominiums.
High temperatures at Waterbury Center State Park through the warm months are in the 60's; the overnight is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down
through the winter temperatures at Waterbury Center State Park plunge into the 0's. The snow is wonderful at Bolton Valley. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Waterbury Center State Park has to offer, you can camp at Duxbury Campground.
Good hiking is available
along the Haselton Trail; if you need a location to stay Stowe Motel is a fine choice. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Waterbury Center State Park. If you're here at Waterbury Center State Park, you could visit Bryant Brook; in case you don’t
mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ridley Brook. Waterbury Center State Park is a great spot for a trip when you have to spend some time in the wilderness.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Green Mountains. A magnificent nearby
hotel is Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Mad River. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Stowe, and going for a hike on the Stevenson Brook Trail is always a splendid adventure. Waterbury Center State
Park gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
