Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge White River Junction, and whitewater paddling is great on Bloods Brook. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Green Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Quechee State Park; Futures Trail is a great local
trail. Gotta ski! Suicide Six is a glorious place to do that, and great water scenery is available at Emery Mills Dam next to Quechee State Park.
What a place this is for outdoors people. Do stop at Lower Hurricane Reservoir near Quechee State Park, it's a charming lake; what would winter be without some skiing at Ascutney.
