New Discovery State Park, Green Mountains, Vermont

  There's splendid hiking along the Little Deer Trail, and a wooded neighborhood nearby is Marshfield Municipal Forest. New Discovery State Park is a good location for a visit when you need to get out of the house. Having a great time in the Green Mountains is easy. The summit of Burnt Mountain can be spotted from New Discovery State Park. There's so much to do here at New Discovery State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Larry and Sons Campground is a tremendous site for that.
A good nearby hotel is Injun Joe Court. New Discovery State Park
    has a wealth of natural splendor; it's a location that is popular with folks from near and far. Good hiking is available along the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop; an attention-grabbing thing to stop at near New Discovery State Park is Richards Dam.
Summertime brings highs in the 60's
to New Discovery State Park. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. During the winter highs are typically in the 10's, and night lows throughout the winter for New Discovery State Park tend to be in the 0's. The high level of precipitation makes New Discovery State Park a pretty wet spot; the month with most of the rain is August; February is when it's the driest. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Green Mountains has to offer. Marshfield Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth  
going to, and a round of golf at nearby Woodbury Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time.
Not far from New Discovery State Park, you'll find Turtlehead Pond which is a wonderful lake, and if you need a spot to stay Village Motel is a wonderful choice. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great planet it would be. Hiking is a popular thing to do around New Discovery State Park; Big Deer Mountain Trail is a magnificent local trail, and the peak of Devils Hill can be made out from New Discovery State Park. Going for a hike on the Kettle Pond Trail is always a good adventure, and one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Boulder Beach.
Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Green Mountains. Mollys Falls is always fun to check out; if you came to camp Spooners Trailer Park and Campground is a perfect spot to do that. A delightful lake like West Hill Pond near New Discovery State Park is a good location to stop by, and camping at New Discovery Campground is always a great experience. Soar down the rapids of Winooski River in a kayak, and a pleasant spot to camp here at New Discovery State Park is Onion River Campground.
Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Green Mountains is excellent! Go for a hike on the Owls Head Trail; at New Discovery State Park you can make out Drew Mountain. New Discovery State Park is a common location to spend time for folks from Marshfield. At New Discovery State Park you always meet someone from Marshfield; some nearby water includes Jug Brook.

Knob Hill Pond is a magnificent lake close to New Discovery State Park; at Bailey Pond Dam near New Discovery State Park there are some exciting things to see. There are other spots here than New Discovery State Park, for example Mollys Falls Pond, and Mays Mountain is clearly visible from New Discovery State Park. There are many cool pastimes for young and old to take pleasure in.
