Mt. Philo State Park Custom Search   Nearby Cochran Ski Center is a ski mountain featuring a wonderful 350-foot drop from top to bottom. Cochran Ski Center has 8 ski slopes and 3 different ski lifts and has 23 feet of wonderful snow every season. The intermediate or beginner ski slopes account for 95% of the ski slopes at Cochran Ski Center; no wonder this ski mountain is such a wonderful place. The challenging ski slopes make up 5% of the 13 acres of skiable territory at Cochran Ski Center. There's a glorious type II segment of whitewater close by on Lewis Creek, the 10-mile-from-beginning-to-end     Prindle Corner to Lake Champlain sector. For those inexperienced in whitewater rafting or kayaking this segment of Lewis Creek may be an enjoyable location to run. A close by grade II-V whitewater part can be found on Boquet River; the Boquet to Willsboro section is 22.7 miles long. It can be said that this part of Boquet River is a spot for expert paddling. In case you are going paddling, you should always check current conditions.   The Mt.
