Best Western Waterbury-Stowe is a glorious location to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Mad River for all you adrenaline kick people. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Green Mountains. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Little River - West Branch, and let's not forget Little River which is a stream that you may run into while you're here.
A journey to Little River State Park is a glorious pick when you have to spend some time in nature. There is so much enjoyable stuff to do for everybody. So many enjoyable things in the Green Mountains, just tremendous.
All year is a wonderful time in the Green Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Lakes are tremendous; Lake Mansfield is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Little River State Park, and glide down the rapids of Little River in a kayak. So many amusing things to do here in the Green Mountains, too delightful to be true. You're sure to encounter some friendly people from Waterbury here, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Stowe Country Club is in the neighborhood. Little River State Park has a large quantity of natural beauty; it's a spot where everybody has a delightful time.
Little River State Park is a popular destination for folks coming from Waterbury. After a long day outdoors Northern Lights Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two, and the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail offers hiking at its best. Man, is there lots of fun stuff to do in the Green Mountains. A tremendous close by hotel is L J's Lodge; while you're here, you could go to Stevenson Brook.
Gotta ski! Smugglers Notch is a great spot to do that; if you came for an overnight stay Duxbury Campground is a magnificent location to camp. Camping is available at Gold Brook Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Winooski River offers some tremendous whitewater. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Little River State Park. Everybody close by loves skiing at Stowe, and Country Club of Vermont is a great golf course nearby.
If you need a place to stay Trapp Family Lodge is a great choice, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Dalley Loop Trail. From a rain point of view Little River State Park is a relatively typical site; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
