During the long summer days at Emerald Lake State Park highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Emerald Lake State Park temperatures dip to the 0's. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Staples Trail. There's so much to do here at Emerald Lake State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Campground A is a brilliant site for that.
But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Green Mountains. You'll come across a delightful lake called Bullhead Pond near Emerald Lake State Park, and Emerald Lake State Park is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Campground C is a magnificent local campground. A perfect spot to camp here at Emerald Lake State Park is Otter Creek Campground; do take a hike on the Lake Trail. Emerald Lake State Park is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February.
Fun things to do are abundant; there's always something for everybody to like. Be careful coming to Emerald Lake State Park, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Pickerel Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by; since you're here you can take a hike along the Old Job Trail. If you're visiting Emerald Lake State Park from East Dorset, you won't be the only one; if you need a place to stay Four Winds Country Motel is a good choice.
