Brighton State Park Custom Search   30% of the 250 acres of skiable terrain at Burke Mountain consist of challenging slopes. But there are pleasant slopes for children and beginners as well; 70% of the slopes are beginner and intermediate. The 4 lifts transport skiers up the 2,011-foot altitude difference at the nearby ski area Burke Mountain. Burke Mountain gets an average of 18 feet of snow yearly on its 45 slopes. The demanding ski slopes account for 10% of the much-liked ski slopes at Lyndon Outing Club, the ski resort every skier likes. There's 18 acres of ski terrain to enjoy, 90%     of which are beginner and intermediate ski slopes. 3 great ski lifts transport skiers up the slope, so they can enjoy the 9 ski slopes of the close by ski resort, Lyndon Outing Club. Lyndon Outing Club has an altitude difference of 433 feet and gets covered by 25 feet of beautiful snow every winter. It's a popular place to get away to for folks from Island Pond. Go for a hike on the Mount Gore Trail.
