The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Millsite State Park plunge into the 10's. Millsite State Park is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Mill Site Campground is a wonderful local campground, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Hole Trail.   A great site to camp here at Millsite State Park is Buckboard - Manti-LaSal National Forest; close by you hit upon good sites like Dry Wash. At Millsite State Park you find a heap of outdoors recreation, so you may have a heap of fun. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Cottonwood Creek, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Blue Trail. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Millsite State Park. Lakes are magnificent; Millsite Reservoir is a lake that's near Millsite State Park, and going for a hike along the Dry Wash Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Diversion Hollow is next to Millsite State Park and is a splendid place, and if you came for an overnight stay Ferron A - Manti-LaSal National Forest is a magnificent site to camp. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Straight Hollow North Debris Basin Reservoir near Millsite State Park, and not far from Millsite State Park you acquire some delightful water scenery at Ferron Debris Basin Number Four Dam. At Millsite State Park you don’t see much rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. Millsite State Park is a pretty section of wilderness where everyone has a perfect time. Millsite State Park is a popular destination for folks getting here from Ferron.
