Davis Mountains State Park is a delightful wilderness area that everybody enjoys. If you came for an overnight stay MacMillen in the Highlands RV Resort is a great spot to camp; there's nice hiking along the Davis Mountains State Park Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Davis Mountains State Park; the night is slightly colder of course, typically in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows during the winter for Davis Mountains State Park tend to be in the 30's.
