always a bliss to stop at. There's so much to do here at Oconee State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Oconee Station state Historic Site is a good site for that. If you come at the right time of year, Chattooga River - East Fork offers some delightful whitewater,
and camping is available at Burrel Place Campground. Tamassee Knob is clearly visible from Oconee State Park, and there's some flowing water close by, Big Stakey Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff
to do here at Oconee State Park. This is a delightful vicinity for folks who like lakes. Lake Becky is a lake around here; get yourself into a kayak and hit Flat Shoal River. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Oconee State Park. Get wet paddling on Oconee
Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Gordons Lake. Clear Branch flows through this region; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Ellicott Rock Trail. Oconee State Park is a great place for a spree when you have to spend
some time in the great outdoors. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you came to camp Yellow Branch Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Winding Stairs Trail. There is magnificent outdoors

with tremendous feelings. Lakes are nice; Lake Becky is a lake that's right next door to Oconee State Park. A good deal of rain falls at Oconee State Park; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
