Croft State Park, South Carolina   Not impressed with Croft State Park. No swimming areas or tennis. Nice playground. ''Lake front'' means view of lake. If you have horses this is the park for you. Park Lake is close by, and getting to Kelsey Creek from Croft State Park is simple. Take a little journey to Stillhouse Branch if you're here at Croft State Park; The Creek Golf Club is a golf course close by.     Lawsons Fork Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Croft State Park, and camping is available at Pine Ridge Campground. Through the days of summer highs here at Croft State Park get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Croft State Park. Croft State Park is a common spot to spend time for folks from Pacolet. Croft State Park generally gets a good deal of rainfall; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here while April is ordinarily the driest month. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Thompson Creek is in close proximity to Croft State Park and is always a pleasure to explore; for you golfers we recommend nearby Oak Ridge Country Club. After a long day outdoors Spartanburg Marriott at Renaissance Park is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pacolet. Going to Croft State Park is a perfect idea when you must spend some time in the fresh air. Croft State Park is a beautiful spot where everyone has a perfect time. A good place to camp here at Croft State Park is Croft state Natural Area, as expected you could also pop by Lake Zimmerman if you're here; it's not far at all.
