The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Airy Lodge, and a good swamp next to Tobyhanna State Park is Palen Swamp. Lake Carobeth is a nearby lake that you could go to, and SUPER 8 MOTEL - MT. POCONO is a good site to get some rest. At Tobyhanna State Park you find heaps of outdoors recreation, so you could have heaps of fun. Tobyhanna State Park is a charming part of wilderness that is popular with people from near and far. Jim Smith Run is a good local stream. People from South Sterling love to come to Tobyhanna State Park, and after a long day outdoors Caesars Paradise Stream is a tremendous location to spend a night or two.
