| | It's a popular place to go to for folks travelling from Underwood. Viento State Park is a delightful place for a visit when you have got to spend some time in the fresh air. Viento State Park has gorgeous nature scenery for you to love.
Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. A round of golf at nearby Hood River Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time, and of course Starvation Creek flows through this neighborhood. At Viento State Park you find loads of outdoors recreation, so you may have fun |
while here. Vagabond Lodge is a fine site to get some rest, and Viento State Park is not the only spot close by, Green Point Lower Reservoir is a close by lake.
A tremendous nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Hood River, and nearby you come across the Wyeth Trail which is a tremendous
| hiking trail. For the duration of the summer months at Viento State Park highs are usually in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Viento State Park descend into the 30's.

Cascade Range has it all. Get covered with water paddling on Hood River - Lake Branch, and Cook Hill is uncomplicated to spot from Viento State Park. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Viento State Park. You'll meet a lot of people from Hood
River here, and going for a hike on the Nestor Peak Trail is always a perfect adventure.
If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Viento State Park. If you need a place to stay Red Carpet Inn is a glorious choice, and there are brilliant places
to look at along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 23. A great nearby hotel is Meredith Gorge Motel, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hood River - West Fork. Viento State Park generally gets much rainfall; most of the rain falls
during December; the driest of the months is July.
Viento State Park is a gorgeous place that everybody enjoys. This is a pleasant region for folks who like lakes. Drano Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Hood River - East Fork. There are
loads of exciting things to do for everybody.
I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Viento State Park. Viento State Park is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Wind Mountain Resort is a wonderful local campground, and there's splendid hiking along
the Cascade Crest Trail. You could also take a look at Little White Salmon Fish Hatchery Reservoir since you're here at Viento State Park; it's close by, and since you're here, you could stop at Viento Creek. All the outdoors exciting things in the Central Cascade Range will keep
you coming back many times. A perfect place for whitewater paddling close to Viento State Park is Little White Salmon River; camping is available at Sunset RV Park.
Don't leave Viento State Park without first going for a hike along the Brush Creek Trail; most likely you're
looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lindsey Pond is just a very short distance away. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a brilliant time. There's some flowing water nearby, Cabin Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here, and dry warm beds await you at Columbia
Gorge Hotel. A quick journey to Dog Creek in the neighborhood of Viento State Park is a fine idea, and if you've had enough of Viento State Park, Green Point Upper Reservoir is close by.
