A great place like Rocky Flat here at Memaloose State Park is too great to miss; Balch Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Memaloose State Park has to offer, you can camp at Memaloose State Park, and why not a little side spree to Catherine Creek.
Be careful coming to Memaloose State Park, you might not ever want to go back home again. There's so much to do here at Memaloose State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Columbia River Gorge Camping is a good spot for that, and if you've had enough of Memaloose State Park, Rowland Lake is close by. City Center Motel is a delightful location to get some rest, and Molitor Spring is an inspiring site to explore while you're here. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Memaloose State Park. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Memaloose State Park.
